چکیده
Abstract Glare is a common local visual discomfort that difficult to identify with conventional light sensors. This article presents an artificial intelligence algorithm detects subjective glare from the image analysis of video footage office occupant’s face. The face directly used as comfort sensor. Results show it can recognize around 90% accuracy. thus be at basis efficient feedback control system regulate shading devices in building.

Building Grounded Abstractions for Artificial Intelligence Programming
Most Artificial Intelligence (AI) work can be characterized as either “high-level” (e.g., logical, symbolic) or “low-level” (e.g., connectionist networks, behavior-based robotics). Each approach suffers from particular drawbacks. High-level AI uses abstractions that often have no relation to the way real, biological brains work. Low-level AI, on the other hand, tends to lack the powerful abstra...
متن کاملBuilding Explainable Artificial Intelligence Systems
As artificial intelligence (AI) systems and behavior models in military simulations become increasingly complex, it has been difficult for users to understand the activities of computer-controlled entities. Prototype explanation systems have been added to simulators, but designers have not heeded the lessons learned from work in explaining expert system behavior. These new explanation systems a...
متن کاملArtificial Intelligence Support for Scientific Model-Building
Scientific model-building can be a timeintensive and painstaking process, often involving the development of large and complex computer programs. Despite the effort involved, scientific models cannot easily be distributed and shared with other scientists. In general, implemented scientific models are complex, idiosyncratic, and difficult for anyone but the original scientific development team t...

متن کاملIntegral approach for adaptable indoor comfort; Building and occupants follow the sun
The focus on the needs and drives for adaptation of the building automatically leads to changing needs and demands of the occupants of the building. Building should really take care of its occupants and show adaptable behaviour and reaction to the changing outdoor environment during the day. Design for adaptability should start with the occupants needs for comfort and indoor air quality. These ...
